Cathedral of St Elisabeth is a Gothic cathedral in Košice. It is Slovakia's largest church and one of the easternmost Gothic cathedrals in Europe. The record of the existence of Kassa (modern day Košice), dating from 1230, is connected with the existence of the rectory church. In the process of the settlement's transformation from a rural community into a town, all its periods of successes and failures have been reflected in St Elisabeth's Cathedral.

The ruins of Spiš Castle (SlovakSpišský hrad), in eastern Slovakia form one of the largest castle sites in Central Europe. The castle is situated above the town of Spišské Podhradie and the village of Žehra, in the region known as Spiš. It was included in the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites in 1993 (together with the adjacent locations of Spišská Kapitula, Spišské Podhradie and Žehra). This is one of the biggest European castles by area (41 426 m²).

The Church of the Holy Trinity, since February 2008 Holy Trinity Cathedral is a Roman Catholic church in ŽilinaSlovakia. It is one of the town's most significant monuments. Together with the Burian's Tower it creates the typical skyline of the town. The church was built around 1400.

It is a natural cultural monument and its present appearance is the result of renovations in the last quarter of the twentieth century and since 2002.
